Features & Protection Mechanism
Features: Environment protection, no heavy metals, low oil absorption, easy to disperse, not easy to foam, long-lasting protection.
Chemical Protection:
Resist acid corrosion, Anti-corrosion pigments modified with calcium ions will react with water molecules and hydrogen ions seep into the coating film. It will generate hydroxide ions and release calcium ions, to keep the pH value-neutral or alkaline, avoid the metals for acidic hydrogen evolution corrosion, and reduce the coating films’ bulge phenomenon.
Physical Protection:
When metals have corrosion, the anode generates iron or ferrous ions, and the cathode generates hydroxide ions. Hydroxide ion will react with silica and release silicate ion, the hydroxide will react with iron ion or calcium ion to generate silicate and cover the surface of the metal to bring an inert protective layer, thereby, the electrochemical reaction of the metal is further prevented, and the corrosion is prevented from continuing to occur effectively.
